Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage:
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is used primarily to promote the optimal functioning of the lymphatic vessels that lead into the nodes and into the circulatory system. It is a slow gentle rhythmic massage that encourages the lymph removal, relaxes the sympathetic nervous system, reducing pain and enhances the activity of the immune system. MLD is effective in the treatment of a wide variety of problems including oedema, inflammation, swelling, skin disorders, headaches, sinus congestion, sprains, aches and before and after surgery to remove tissue congestion and minimize scar formation. It is particularly useful as part of post-mastectomy therapy, to reduce oedema and fibrosis and to relieve pain and tension. It is extremely gentle and feels wonderfully relaxing. The majority of patients fall asleep or go into a highly relaxed state due to the slow, gentle rhythmic motion involved.

Baby Massage Lessons
Being massaged is as important as food for an infant. Massaging your baby is a wonderful time for both parent and baby. A quiet time for both to enjoy, it is the primary language of compassion, helps with the bonding process with trust, comfort, love, confidence, reassurance, calmness and stimulates the baby to function to the best of its ability. I teach you to massage your baby to help with wind, colic, constipation and teething.
